FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

To make sure we all enjoy ourselves, we have established a few ground rules.  We ask all guests to arrive early and travel light as you may be subject to visual inspection and a bag inspection upon entry. Contents of all backpacks and all packages, bags, containers, purses, or other hand carried items of similar size or larger may be inspected. Exceptions can be made for guests with special medical needs. No prohibited items will be accepted at the festival gates for safekeeping. Please leave all prohibited items secured in your vehicle or throw them away.

Possession of prohibited items may result in removal from the festival. Guests found in possession of a prohibited item will be asked to remove the item from the festival or dispose of it. Guests who refuse to comply may be denied entry or will be removed from the festival grounds without refund.

Scotfest | Oklahoma or the City of Broken Arrow are NOT responsible for items left behind, lost, stolen or damaged.

Scotfest | Oklahoma reserves the right to deem any other item inappropriate.

WHEN DO TICKETS GO ON SALE?

Tickets for Scotfest 2022 are already on sale! Get your Super Early Bird tickets by May 31, 2022 for the best deal on admission. Tickets are available online through the Scotfest Ticket Box Office.

WHAT TICKET OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE?

There is something for everyone when it comes to Scotfest ticket options! Three-day general admission passes offer access to all three days of the festival, and they are available for the early-bird price of just $25 through May 31, 2022 (a $55 value). Single day general admission tickets are $15 for Friday admission and $20 for Saturday or Sunday admission. You can also purchase a 3-day VIP Highland pass, which covers your festival entrance and VIP access for all three days of the festival, at the early-bird price of $199. 

WHAT DOES A 3-DAY GA TICKET GET ME?

Your 3-day general admission ticket includes access to the entire festival grounds, with the exception of the designated VIP and backstage areas, for all three days of the festival. That means you get three full days of Highland games, incredible Scotrock and Celtic music concerts, dancing, and more for one low price!

WHAT DOES A 3-DAY VIP TICKET GET ME?

Unlimited access to the VIP area all weekend including, free parking, food and beverage tokens, exclusive beer mug, AC restrooms, private bar, wifi, TV’s w/football, and much more.

WHAT DOES THE PARTY PACK INCLUDE?

The Party Pack is an exciting new way for you and 29 of your friends who want to save money on the price of admission and beer.  If you’re a company, how about boosting employee morale and enjoy a great night out with your coworkers. The Party Pack includes admission to the festival for 30 people, as well as 30 beverage tokens good for the purchase of a 16 ounce beer or soft drink. 

DO CHILDREN UNDER A CERTAIN AGE GET IN FOR FREE?

Children under the age of 12 get into Scotfest for free. Ride passes are available to purchase. Regardless of age, all children must hold a VIP pass in order to be allowed in the VIP area.

IS RE-ENTRY PERMITTED?

Same day re-entry is permitted, so you can come and go from the Scotfest festival site on the day of admission. Re-entry is not permitted throughout the weekend unless you hold a pass for each day or a 3-day weekend pass.

FESTIVAL WIDE PURCHASES

Debit & Credit cards will be accepted at all points of sale throughout the festival venue. Cash will not be accepted.

Food & Merchandise vendors will accept credit cards and cash.

CAN I GET A REFUND IF AN ARTIST I LIKE CANCELS?

Scotfest is unable to offer refunds, and all sales are final. We do our best to ensure that all of our artists make it to Scotfest, but sometimes, cancellations do occur, and the lineup is subject to change without notice. We recommend that you keep an eye on our social media accounts for any lineup change announcements.

WHAT IS YOUR TICKET POLICY?

Rain or Shine.  Tickets are purchased online through our website.  No tickets will be mailed, unless specifically stated through periodic ticket giveaways.  Tickets are non-refundable.  Keep your tickets on the Eventbrite app, on your phone or print them out and bring them with you.  Kids 12 and under are free, and there is no need to register them or purchase a ticket.  If weather is deemed unsafe, performances may be postponed or canceled.

WHAT COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES WILL YOU HAVE?

Scotfest is committed to the health, safety and security of our patrons, staff, volunteers and performers. We continue to update our health and safety protocols, thanks to the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) and the Tulsa County Health Department. We are regularly in touch with local health officials and are committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety for our guests. As health guidelines change, Scotfest will post updates as necessary to our site to ensure guests have the most up to date information before joining us at the festival.

IS THERE ONSITE CAMPING AVAILABLE?

No on-site camping is available. Make sure to check out our hotel blocks at the local hotels who offer shuttle services and provide our guests with a great discount!

DIRECTIONS, HOW DO I GET THERE?

From North (Tulsa/BA): Take HWY 51 South to last free exit (81st S), exit right. Turn left on County Line Rd. Turn left onto 101st (New Orleans), then turn right onto 209th E Ave for $5 parking.

From North (Creek Turnpike): Take Creek Turnpike South, exit at 101st (New Orleans). Continue straight at lights onto 209th E Ave for $5 parking.

From West (South Tulsa): Take 101st Street (New Orleans) east. Turn left into Northeastern State University for $5 Parking.

HOW DO I GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE FESTIVAL?

The Tulsa International Airport (TUL) is 20 miles away from Scotfest.  It’s a 25 min drive.  We suggest Uber or Lyft.  If you have reserved a hotel for your stay, they may pick you up, additionally, Scotfest provides a FREE shuttle between the hotels and the event, The venue address is 21101 E 101st St, Broken Arrow, OK 74014.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO PARK?

Parking at Northeastern State University costs only $5 per car advance purchase, $10 per car day of.  (rates for buses and RV’s etc may vary)

WHERE IS PARKING AVAILABLE FOR ATTENDEES?

Parking is available at Northeastern State University, which is located on the other side of the Turnpike from the Broken Arrow Events Park. Scotfest offers continuously running FREE shuttles during all festival open hours. In order to ensure that you have a seamless and enjoyable experience at Scotfest, we work with transportation experts to ensure that we have the appropriate number of shuttle buses to ensure that patrons can arrive as quickly and easily as possible. Although we do have transportation available, we request that you please pack light in order to reserve as much space as possible for other patrons.

WHERE IS VIP PARKING LOCATED?

VIP parking is included in your VIP ticket purchase and parking is located at no additional charge at the NSU Parking lot with regular air-conditioned shuttles going to and from the parking lot and festival entrance

CAN I PRE-PURCHASE MY PARKING?

Yes, you can pre-purchase your parking for $5 at https://tickets.okscotfest.com/tickets/

WHERE IS ADA PARKING LOCATED?

There is an onsite lot located close to the venue that is available for handicapped participants on a first come, first served basis. After the on-site lot is filled, ADA parking is available at the Northeastern State University parking lots where free shuttles are available. Upon arrival, please contact one of the shuttle attendants to call the ADA Accessible Shuttle and they will come to pick you up. ADA day parking costs only $5 per vehicle, but on-site space is limited. Identification will be required to ensure legitimate use of all ADA parking.

WHERE IS VOLUNTEER PARKING LOCATED?

Volunteer parking is located at NSU and at no charge to volunteers.

IS PARKING RE-ENTRY PERMITTED?

There is no parking re-entry. Fans can come and go from the festival site, however, we cannot reserve parking spaces.

WHERE IS MOTORCYLCE PARKING?

WHAT CAN I, OR CAN’T I BRING TO SCOTFEST?

CAN I BRING MY BACKPACK?

This year, backpacks and large bags will generally be banned from Scotfest | Oklahoma. Please leave any non-essential items at home. You will make it into Scotfest much quicker if you don’t bring any bags or backpacks with you. Any bags you do bring must not exceed a size of 13″ x 15″ x 6″.

WHAT ABOUT BABY STROLLERS?

Small children will get the best view of Scotfest from their strollers. While there is no general ban on large strollers, they may be subjected to checks by security staff.

ARE PETS PERMITTED AT THE EVENT?

All animals and pets, except service animals, are prohibited from the Festival area.  The event is usually very hot with limited shade areas, consider how your dog might feel, and please leave them at home.

WHAT ELSE AM I NOT PERMITTED TO BRING?

Aerosol spray cans with hazardous contents, including Pepper spray/Mace Corrosive or staining substances Objects that could be used to cut, slash or stab – basically any weapons of any sort including chains, firearms and spiked jewelry, Drones, Fireworks and Laser pens/pointers of any type Noisemakers such as air horns Outside food or drinks Glass bottles

CAN I CONCEALED CARRY?

The official policy of Scotfest | Oklahoma is to request patrons not to carry guns on festival grounds. Scotfest is certainly a supporter of every amendment to the Constitution however, in accordance with the business owner exemption law, Okla. Stat. tis. 21 sec 1290.22, that allows business owners to request customers not carry guns into their businesses. Therefore it is the policy of Scotfest to ask gun owners and everyone to please leave weapons in their vehicles and not bring them onto festival grounds. Guns and alcohol do not mix well. Scotfest | Oklahoma does not want to put conceal carry festival fans in danger of a felony charge because they carried in a place where beer and liquor is served. Okla. Stat. tit. 21 sec. 1272.1. The board of Scotfest | Oklahoma feels that most of the patrons that attend Scotfest would appreciate and request a weapon free festival.

CAN I BRING FOOD OR DRINKS INTO THE FESTIVAL?

Outside food or beverages of any kind, coolers, kegs, cans, and glass containers (alcoholic beverages included) may not be brought onto the festival grounds with the exception of bottled water (limit one bottle per person), baby formula, baby supplies and medication is permissible.

ARE CAMERAS ALLOWED?

At the request of the entertainers, professional photography or video recording of the stage shows (specifically involving cameras with professional/detachable lenses) may not be permitted; however, the remainder of the festival grounds are open game and we encourage social media sharing throughout the event.

CAN I SMOKE ON THE FESTIVAL GROUNDS?

In accordance with the City of Broken Arrow ordinances and the Fire Marshal, smoking is prohibited in all tents at all times. Smoking in outside areas is permitted; however, guests are asked to please extinguish all smoking materials when finished and dispose of materials properly. Please do not throw materials on the ground.

ARE LOCKERS AVAILABLE FOR STORING ITEMS?

At this point, lockers are not available on the Festival Grounds. If your item appears on the list above, we highly suggest you leave it in your car to avoid it being confiscated or entry refused.

OTHER NOTES.

Alcohol, drugs, illegal substances or any paraphernalia associated with drug use. Any person who enters or attempts to enter the festival with an item that is illegal to possess by law, may be asked to leave or arrested by a police officer regardless of whether the item is listed within this policy.
