CLEGHORN

…is a Celtic influenced Texas rock band featuring the father-son team of John Cleghorn and Dylan Cleghorn. The music is both traditional acoustic and original rock. The band promotes an upbeat show for all ages. Original songwriting with blazing fiddle tunes are the hallmark of CLEGHORN.

TULLAMORE

Tullamore numbers among the Heartland’s premier Celtic bands. Mark Clavey, Mary Hanover, and Rachel Gaither render the music of Ireland and Scotland in compelling vocals and vibrant instrumentation. The Kansas City trio draws from diverse musical experiences, and a broad range of influences, to strike a remarkable poise on the traditional and progressive fronts. Their dynamic arrangements appeal to mainstream audiences, yet remain loyal to the soul of Celtic music.

CELTIC CHEER

Local favorites Celtic Cheer will be gracing the stages once again. First performing on Tartan Day April 2003, during the last number years, the band has performed for a variety of audiences and venues.  From the traditional ballads and folk songs of the Highlands and Emerald Isle, to the more Celtic contemporary sounds of today, Celtic cheer has proven to be a “Celtic band for all occasions”.  So come listen to the joyous noise that is Celtic Cheer.

 

FLOWERS OF EDINBURGH

The Flowers of Edinburgh is a family band from Oklahoma City, but their ancestry reaches back to Scotland and Ireland.  The band features 20-year-old sisters Laura and Rachel Bennett on fiddles, their mother, Malia Bennett, on guitar, and Dave Cooper on Bodhran.  Regular performers at Sean Cummings Irish Pub in Oklahoma City, the band also plays in festivals throughout Oklahoma, including the The Oklahoma Scottish Festival in Tulsa; Oklahoma Celtic Music and Heritage Festival; Iron Thistle Scottish Festival in Yukon; the annual Bricktown St. Patrick’s Day Festival in Oklahoma City; and the annual Tartan Day festival in Claremore at Roger’s State University.
